Digital Delivery – Purposeful Delivery Discussion with Owners and Contractors (1:00 to 2:00 PM ET)

Everyone has heard the benefits of digital delivery, but not the real challenges that are faced with digital design review, design information transfer to contractors and digital construction while piloting new technology. We will present digital construction that not only presents the positives that were born of actual pilots, but also the challenges encountered; things that didn’t work, why they didn’t work, and what could be done to improve the process to have made the pilots more successful. We want to present that pilots in digital delivery have serious challenges and that there is real pain and disruption. "...If the software just did X or the owner had just provided Y information better.” This presentation will discuss a path forward that is beneficial for owners and contractors alike, not just the infrastructure owners.
